Westminster Point Pleasant was the recipient of multiple complaints during 2023 that were investigated by Florida officials with the Agency for Health Care Administration.
This 117-bed assisted living facility is located at 1533 4th Avenue West, Bradenton, Florida 34205. Investigators were onsite in June, October and December, 2023 following complaints. Whenever someone initiates a complaint against a Florida assisted living facility with the Agency, they will send in a team to investigate the allegations and make findings. These complaints, if substantiated, can result in the citation of deficiencies against an ALF based on a failure to comply with requirements set forth under Florida law.

Based on a review of public records, Westminster Point Pleasant was found to have violated requirements set forth under Florida law related to the assistance with the self-administration of medications, the maintenance of medication records and staff training. These violations resulted in the State of Florida issuing three Class III deficiencies against the licensee of this ALF.
