Braden River Rehabilitation lawsuits remain open and pending with the Manatee County Clerk of Court. At present, three negligence lawsuits are open and active against this Bradenton nursing home. More on that below. Braden River Rehabilitation Center is a for-profit 208-bed nursing home located at 2010 Manatee Avenue East, Bradenton, Florida. During 2024, investigators with the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration investigated multiple complaints at this Bradenton nursing home and issued a total of seventeen (17) deficiencies against it.
A deficiency represents the failure of a nursing home to comply with state or federal law. In this instance, Braden River Rehabilitation Center was cited for, among other things, failing to meet requirements related to medication errors, following physician orders, and adhering to each resident’s right to receive adequate and appropriate healthcare. Braden River Rehabilitation Lawsuits Allege Nursing Home Negligence and Wrongful Death
In the first of the three lawsuits that remain pending at this time, the representative of a former female resident alleges that the nursing home failed to provide required care to her and that, as a result, she suffered skin breakdown and a bed sore to her backside. The complaint further alleges that Braden River Rehab was understaffed. The negligence complaint seeks damages for her injuries, pain and suffering and expenses.
In the second lawsuit pending against the owners and operators of Braden River Rehabilitation Center, the companies involved are alleged to have put profits over the safety of residents and, as a result, a male resident was caused to suffer bodily injury, pain, disability, disfigurement and other damages. This lawsuit also alleges that this Bradenton nursing home failed to employ sufficient numbers of qualified staff to meet the needs of its residents.
The most recent lawsuit brought against Braden River Rehabilitation Center, LLC was filed with the Manatee County Clerk of Court on March 7, 2025. In this case, the estate of a deceased former female resident sued the defendant and alleges that the nursing home and staff deprived her of necessary care and that, as a result, she suffered bed sores, infection and ultimately sepsis. This lawsuit asserts claims for nursing home negligence and seeks damages for her wrongful death.
