This for-profit ALF is licensed to provide 90 beds.

The Pavilion of Downtown Venice complaints ultimately resulted in investigations that confirmed that the operator of this assisted living facility failed to comply with requirements set forth under Florida law, according to state officials. Among other things, Florida investigators with the Agency for Health Care Administration found violations related to resident care, background screening of employees, risk management and quality assurance.
Deficiencies Result in Fines Imposed against The Pavilion of Downtown Venice
In November, 2023, the State of Florida issued a Final Order against 200 Venice Operating LLC doing business as The Pavilion of Downtown Venice imposing a fine of $5,500.00. As reflected on the chart below, which is available on the Agency’s website, this was not the first fine to be imposed against the operator of this Venice assisted living facility.
Venice Police Called to Scene of Stabbing at The Pavilion of Downtown Venice
In addition to deficiencies, fines and complaints at The Pavilion of Downtown Venice, there was at least one reported crime during 2023. As reported by ABC7 News, the Venice Police Department responded to a stabbing that occurred at the ALF during 2023. An individual was transported from the crime scene with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.
