A Windsor of Venice complaint and inspection in 2024 brought Florida officials with the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration to this Venice assisted living facility to conduct an investigation to determine whether it was in compliance with Florida law. The ALF is located at 1600 Center Road, Venice, FL 34292.

Windsor of Venice in Violation of Staffing Standards
While the allegations of the complaint were unable to be substantiated, Florida inspectors with AHCA did find violations during their inspection and cited Windsor of Venice with two Class III deficiencies. Those failures were related to “Staffing Standards” and also “Dietary Standards.”
Windsor of Venice is a for-profit assisted living facility managed by Legend Senior Living, LLC which is based in Wichita, Kansas. This ALF has been fined by the State of Florida three times since 2014. The most recent fines were imposed against the assisted living facility and its operator during 2022. These fines were imposed following the filing of administrative lawsuit by AHCA against the license holder, Center ALF, LLC d/b/a Windsor of Venice.
