Gardens of Venice complaints have been investigated by Florida officials and substantiated on more than one occasion. Gardens of Venice Retirement Residence is a 50 bed for-profit assisted living facility located at 2901 Jacaranda Boulevard, Venice, Florida 34293. The owner and licensee of this ALF is North Port Retirement Residence, Inc. Gardens of Venice Retirement Residence has also been ordered to pay fines by the State of Florida Agency for Health Care Administration.
Complaints brought to attention of State of Florida
According to public records on file with the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration, multiple complaints were filed concerning Gardens of Venice between 2018 and 2020. As shown by public records, the two most recent complaints were investigated on January 30, 2020 and March 17, 2020. Neither of those complaints were substantiated. On September 13, 2019, however, a complaint related to resident care – supervision was filed. This complaint was substantiated by Florida investigators and Gardens of Venice Retirement Residence was cited with a Class II deficiency.
