Tuscan Gardens of Venetia Bay lawsuits are a matter of public record on file with the Sarasota County Clerk of Court. This for-profit Venice assisted living facility is licensed to provide 175 beds. The facility opened and has been owned by the same company since 2016. However, a new management company became involved in operations in July of 2023 according to records on file with the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration. Since 2016, Tuscan Gardens of Venetia Bay has been the subject of numerous complaints and investigations which has resulted in findings of deficiencies. Deficiencies are the failure to comply with Florida law. Tuscan Gardens of Venetia Bay Lawsuit Alleging Negligence Remains Pending
Since opening, Tuscan Gardens of Venetia Bay has been sued in cases alleging negligence on two occasions. In the first case, the parties reached an “amicable settlement” in February, 2021. The second case remains pending at this time.
