Truewood By Merril Venice Assisted Living Complaints Investigated
Not long after the ALF began operating as Truewood by Merrill Venice following the change of ownership, investigators with the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration conducted an unannounced survey inspection at the assisted living facility. Truewood By Merrill Venice complaints were investigated by inspectors with the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration shortly after the new owner took over the ALF.

Inspection Reveals Nine Class III Deficiencies to Florida Officials During Investigation
Truewood By Merrill Venice assisted living was cited with nine (9) Class III deficiencies by the State of Florida based on non-compliance with Florida law as determined by AHCA inspectors during their investigation. The deficiencies found involved issues concerning staff training, risk management, resident care, record keeping, admission health assessments and staffing standards.
